We’re SO happy to be part of the Garfield Montessori family. Our three-year-old daughter has been with Ms. Hayley for more than two years, beginning at her home daycare, where her needs and development were supported with the most incredible level of love, attention, and care. She helped us navigate potty training, worked individually with the children to master countless Montessori materials (many in Mandarin), and I will never forget (ALL) the days when Ms. Hayley would hold my daughter to help her settle down for a nap. When Garfield Montessori opened, several families, including ours, moved over because of the incredible trust we have in Ms. Hayley and Ms. Liwei. Many of us even travel pretty far to make it work. We’ve visited other preschools and honestly nothing else comes close. Ms. Hayley, Ms. Liwei and the rest of the team have been wonderful partners in helping my daughter navigate milestones and grow in confidence and curiosity. Whether she wants to bring her dinosaur book to show the class for the third time, or change her shirt immediately upon arrival, the teachers meet her where she is. As working parents, we also really appreciate how thoughtfully everything is run. Meals and snacks are provided, and we receive regular photos and updates. I also love the practical life skills the kids learn, and the teachers reinforce, every day. They work hard to strike a careful balance of intellectual and social development and play/fun. I’m super discriminating when it comes to childcare and schooling, and even though we have many options closer to home, we happily drive the extra distance because this preschool is truly exceptional.

We absolutely love Garfield Montessori School! Our child has been with Ms. Hayley and Ms. Liwei since daycare and is now in preschool. Even though our commute became longer, we chose to stay — that’s how much we appreciate and trust these amazing teachers. Their care, patience, and genuine love for the children truly shine through every day. Since attending, our child has become more focused during work time and has made wonderful progress in emotional regulation. Most importantly, he is excited to go to school every single day, which means everything to us as parents. We feel incredibly grateful to have found Garfield Montessori and these wonderful teachers. Knowing our child is loved, supported, and happy at school gives us such peace of mind.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Garfield Montessori over the past 2 months! The teachers are caring and attentive, and the environment is calm and nurturing. We especially love how the school celebrates events like Chinese New Year and involves the children in creative artwork and hands-on activities. It’s beautiful to see how these experiences help kids learn about different cultures while improving their creativity and skills. We’ve already seen so much growth in our daughter’s confidence and independence. Truly grateful for such a warm and enriching preschool community!

Our son has been in Garfield Montessori’s care since he was 20 months and it’s been a wonderful experience. They use the Montessori method and focus on hands on learning and activities. It was important to us to have a Chinese immersion program as we wanted our son to be able to speak Mandarin with his grandparents. The teachers at Garfield Montessori helped my son develop his Mandarin so much so that he prefers to speak Mandarin over English. Meals are healthy and nutritious, toddlers of age help in preparation and clean up. Our son comes home with lots of different types of artwork and crafts that show their learning and creativity. Teachers care deeply about the children in their care, helping each continue to develop or explore language, new skills, conflict resolution, and even personal hygiene. We’re excited to continue our education for as long as possible with all the excellent teachers at Garfield Montessori.

Clean, Bright School with Great Food and a Welcoming Feel. We’re really happy with our experience at Garfield Montessori School. Our 3-year-old boy attends the school, and from day one we’ve felt good about our decision. The teachers are absolutely amazing. They are kind, patient and attentive. They help create a warm, positive atmosphere throughout the school. My boy is comfortable, happy, and excited to go each day. We also really appreciate the meals provided at the school. The food is healthy, balanced. My kid loves it so much!! Choosing Garfield Montessori School has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our child’s early education.
